Department Head - Mr. John Foran
The Technology Department is dedicated to introducing to and encouraging students
in the development of both technological skills and soft skills, such as
teamwork, problem-solving and communication. Our goal is to foster the
knowledge, motivation and acquisition of skills needed to succeed in our rapidly
changing technological world.
The ELSS Technology Department offers regular programs in Manufacturing,
Communications, Transportation and Construction. At present, we also
offer Pathways programs for students going directly to the workforce in
Landscape Design and Manufacturing. For the past four years, we have been
offering a full semester Co-op placement in Building Construction. We are
also presently exploring the possibility of offering Specialist High Skills
Major courses which would allow students to focus on a career path that matches
their skills and interests.
For more information on our programs, please feel free to contact the Technical
Department.
